The crash took place around 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, with both the Long Hill and Trumbull Center fire departments responding for a possible entrapment.
When units arrived on the scene they found two vehicles with heavy damage and two injured, but no entrapment, said the Long Hill Fire Department.
Trumbull EMS personnel treated the patients.
Firefighters secured the vehicles and applied speedy dry to a fluid spill on the roadway.
The extent of the injuries was not known.
The crash is under investigation.
